How to import and export record from table to another MySQL without import ID

How to import and export record from table to another MySQL without import ID ?

Come importare ed esportare record da una tabella mysql a un’altra senza importare l’ID?

INSERT INTO databasename.TargetTable (column_list) SELECT column_list FROM databasename.SourceTable

Example

INSERT INTO newproject.content (desc,author,`fulltext`) SELECT desc,author,`fulltext` FROM oldproject.content

Note

If you have fulltext field in your column_list, you have to use the quote (`fulltext`) otherwise you meet a mysql error.
Well done!

vSphere 5.5 – vCenter Server Ports

 http://kb.vmware.com/kb/2051575

Port
Protocol
Description
80
TCP
vCenter Server requires port 80 for direct HTTP connections. Port 80 redirects requests to HTTPS port 443. This redirection is useful if you accidentally use http://server instead of https://server.
Note: Microsoft Internet Information Services (IIS) also use port 80. For more information, see theConflict Between vCenter Server and IIS for Port 80 section in the vSphere Installation and Setup guide.
88
TCP
vCenter Single Sign-On – VMware Kdc Service
389
TCP/UDP
This port must be open in the local and all remote instances of vCenter Server. This is the LDAP port number for the Directory Services for the vCenter Server group. The vCenter Server system needs to bind to port 389, even if you are not joining this vCenter Server instance to a Linked Mode group. If another service is running on this port, it might be preferable to remove it or change its port to a different port. You can run the LDAP service on any port from 1025 through 65535.
If this instance is serving as the Microsoft Windows Active Directory, change the port number from 389 to an available port from 1025 through 65535.
443 TCP The default port that the vCenter Server system uses to listen for connections from the vSphere Client. To enable the vCenter Server system to receive data from the vSphere Client, open port 443 in the firewall.

The vCenter Server system also uses port 443 to monitor data transfer from SDK clients.

This port is also used for the these services:

  • WS-Management (also requires port 80 to be open)
  • vSphere Client access to vSphere Update Manager
  • Third-party network management Client connections to vCenter Server
  • Third-party network management Clients access to hosts
636
TCP
This is the SSL port of the local instance for vCenter Server Linked Mode. If another service is running on this port, it might be preferable to remove it or change its port. You can run the SSL service on any port from 1025 through 65535.
902
TCP/UDP
This is the default port used by the vCenter Server system to send data to managed hosts. Managed hosts also send a regular heartbeat over UDP port 902 to the vCenter Server system. This port must not be blocked by firewalls between the server and the hosts or between hosts.
903 TCP Access a virtual machine console from the vSphere Client when the vSphere Client is connected directly to the ESXi host (no vCenter Server).

Windows 8.1 – How to view the password of a known Wi-Fi network

Once you connect to a Wi-Fi network, Windows will automatically save the password, so that you don’t have to enter it at each connection.

  • If you need to connect another device to the network and no longer remember the password, here’s how retrieve it under Windows 8.1:
  • Connect your your WiFi network.
  • Open the Control Panel
  • Go to Network and Internet > Network Connections > Network Connections.

Best Practices – How to calculate page file size (pagefile) on windows server 2008 R2 / 2012

Problem:

How to calculate page file size

Solution:

Applied to: Microsoft Windows Server 2008 R2 and 2012

http://support.microsoft.com/kb/889654

Use one or more of the following methods to help you calculate page file size.

Method 1: Use performance logs to understand the paging activity on your computer

  1. Click Start, point to Administrative Tools, and then click Performance.
  2. Expand Performance Logs and Alerts, click Counter Logs, right-click the blank space in the right-pane, and then clickNew Log Settings.
  3. In the Name box, type a name for the log, and then click OK.
  4. On the General tab, click Add Counters.
  5. Click Use local computer counters.
  6. In the Performance object list, click Paging File.
  7. Click Select counters from list, click % Usage, and then click Add.
  8. In the Performance object list, click Memory.
  9. In Select counters from list, click Available Bytes, and then click Add.
  10. In Select counters from list, click Pages Input/sec, click Add, and then click Close.
  11. Click OK.

Use the log that you collect during typical computer use to understand the paging activity on your computer. Then, adjust the page file size accordingly.

Method 2: Use the Page File Bytes Peak counter to calculate page file size

  1. Click Start, point to Administrative Tools, and then click Performance.
  2. Click System Monitor.
  3. In the right pane, click + (the Add button).
  4. Click Use local computer counters.
  5. In the Performance object list, click Process.
  6. Click Select counters from list, click Page File Bytes Peak, click Add, and then click Close.
  7. Let the counter run during typical use of your computer.
  8. Note the maximum value for the Page File Bytes Peak counter, and then multiply the value by 0.70. The sum of the equation is the size to set for your page file.

Method 3: Calculate the minimum and maximum page file size

To determine the approximate minimum page file that is required by your system, calculate the sum of peak private bytes that are used by each process on the system. Then, subtract the amount of memory on the system.

To determine the approximate maximum page file space that is required for your system, calculate the sum of peak private bytes that are used by each process on the system. Then, add a margin of additional space. Do not subtract the amount of memory on the system. The size of the additional margin can be adjusted based on your confidence in the snapshot data that is used to estimate page file requirements.

Note This estimate is accurate only if the snapshot of data that is used to make the calculations is accurate.
